This is a huge, gorgeous book -- itself a work of art -- ON the art of this nation across the pond from Italy and back to back Eastern Europe. Fascinating history of art, as this was/is an area where the Ottoman Empire still has evidence. A combination of Christian and Islamic art is on display here in this region, and this book records most all of it. The volume is red, with some of the red wearing on the corners, but the book is tight, intact, and substantial. You need this for your library, or if you have one already, make this one a gift.
