Our copy is an Ex-Lib with the usual marking. Horgan has inscribed it and SIGNED it, "His friend, Paul Horgan." And though it was shelved in a library, it is in very good shape, intact, and so tight you feel drunk with appreciation. A wonderful gift.

Hurd married N.C. Wyeth's daughter Henriette, and went West to New Mexico, where they remained until death them did part. In between, Hurd produced some remarkable art, as this lovely book so well documents. Drawings and watercolors depicting the 'freedom' of the American Southwest cowboy country.
