This is a very distinctive book, and one of the most definitive of Michener's works on Japanese Art. It is loaded with sketches/drawings of the great Hokusai, and they are printed on folded-pages to prevent 'see-through.' It is a breathtaking feat exceptionally well accomplished. Third Printing 1959. The book is in MINT condition, and the DJ is in VG-PLUS condition, and is now protected with a Mylar covering. One cannot do better than this exceptional art-work both in execution by Hokusai, and in presentation by Charles E. Tuttle. In a word: ICHIBAN!
